Overview:
The message focused on discovering and remaining in "the place of grace” — a spiritual and practical location aligned with the will of God. Pastor Kevin Nwokorie emphasized that grace is not just a divine gift, but also a realm where purpose, prosperity, and spiritual clarity are manifested. However, remaining in this place requires obedience, sacrifice, and the application of godly principles.
Key Points:
The Call of Abraham:
Abraham’s obedience to God brought blessings, not only for himself but also for Lot. This was described as the "Wealth of Association.” Being aligned with someone in their place of grace can lead to your own increase.
Grace Requires Sacrifice:
Remaining in your place of grace demands continual sacrifice. This could be through:
- Worship
- Service
- Financial giving
Sacrifice secures and sustains the blessings of grace.
Living by Principles:
If you desire a good life, you must live by godly principles. Delays and stagnation often result from the failure to apply the correct spiritual principles.
3 Things to Do to Remain in Your Place of Grace:
- Obedience: Obeying divine instructions keeps you aligned with grace
- Sacrifice: You can’t be extraordinary by doing ordinary things.
- Trust is the foundation of sacrifice—you only sacrifice what you truly value and trust God with.
Two key moments for offering sacrifice:
- In the Desert Place – when things are hard.
- At Your Highest Point – this is called a “Sustenance Sacrifice” and should be done daily.
Consistency in Spiritual Disciplines (implied throughout the sermon through worship, prayer, and continual offering).
Signs That You Are in Your Place of Grace:
- You encounter God personally.
- You begin to see tangible results. (Genesis 22:17)
- You have clarity of purpose and vision.
People You Must Forgive to Remain in Grace:
- Yourself
- Others
Don’t lose your destiny because someone is trying to bully you.
People will envy you when you begin to flourish—remain focused.
Don’t fall from grace. Stay rooted in your place of grace. (1 John 3:2)
Prayer Declaration:
“Lord, help me to stay in my place of grace. Give me the strength never to give up.”
